Hello, I’m Sarah
I live in a small village in Bedfordshire with my husband and daughter, and this is me, I’m the face behind So Bespoke Design.
I started So Bespoke in 2017 when I was planning my own wedding. I’m a Graphic Designer by trade so thought how hard can it be? Turns out pretty hard when you are you’re own worst critique!
Naturally it was the best day of my life, but the planning was the best bit for me so I felt sad when it was all over. I wanted to carry on making stationery but, as we couldn’t get remarried every year (despite some persuading to my husband!), I decided creating stationery for other people was the way to go!
The name So Bespoke came about after we got married as my new initials became SO, and I chose the brand colours based on our wedding theme colours which seemed fitting as that was where it all started.
I love to create beautiful designs specifically tailored to my clients weddings, like I did for my own! But I don’t just stop at weddings; whether it’s for your little one’s christening, a baby shower, or a birthday party, you can guarantee that I’ll put my heart and soul into it as if it were my own.
I officially took the plunge during the first national UK lockdown in April 2020 to establish my brand further. I created this website and added tons of new designs to my collection, many of which are inspired by my family and friends.
After that I went back to basics and practiced painting again for the first time since I was at school! And now most of my designs feature my own hand-painted watercolours which I love.
